Medical Realities, a British firm focusing on using new technologies for medical training, will be broadcasting a live colon cancer surgery in 3D virtual reality. Anyone can use the cheap Google Cardboard along with an iOS or Android phone to experience the operation, and even if you don’t have a Google Cardboard you can still stream the procedure to your mobile device.
The broadcast will begin on April 14 at 1 PM in UTC+01. The viewing instructions and details can be found here.
