PATIENTS have been evacuated from the Lismore Base Hospital after reports the roof collapsed due to wet weather this afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to Uralba Street about 3.20pm local time where people were believed to have been trapped in a damaged ward.
All persons were later accounted for and are now out.
It is believed some people were injured and are being transported to other hospitals for treatment.
