ST VINCENT’S Private Hospital Toowoomba General Manager Carl Yuile has resigned after eight years in the position.

Mr Yuile accepted a position with private hospital group Healthscope as a General Manager at a Western Australia hospital.

He will continue working at the hospital until December 24.

St Vincent’s Health Australia (SVHA) will advertise the General Manager role both internally and externally.

Support throughout the transition will be provided through the SVHA Private Division senior executive and St Vincent’s Toowoomba Director of Clinical Services, Jeff Potter.

The SVHA Private Division Acting Chief Executive Office Ian Grisold said Mr Yuile had been a strong advocate for the Toowoomba and Darling Downs community across many forums.

“Carl has guided St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba through a steady growth period and we commend him for his exceptional leadership,” he said.

Mr Yuile said it had been a privilege to work with staff at the hospital.

“This opportunity will provide me with new challenges and opportunities for professional growth,” he said.

“Importantly my wife, who completes a higher level research degree this month, will be able to expand the scope of her professional practice.”
