OLDER people with cataracts should be moved up the surgery waiting lists to prevent falls due to their impaired vision, says a researcher.
ABOUT 35 per cent have fallen during their waiting period, with half suffering an injury, says Anna Palagyi from the George Institute for Global Health at University of Sydney.
