PREMIER Mike Baird says the upcoming NSW budget will include a record $1.4 billion for rebuilding hospitals.
HE was joined by Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian and Health Minister Jillian Skinner at Blacktown Hospital, where they confirmed the funding will be in addition to the $20 billion infrastructure spend that will come from leasing the state’s poles and wires.
“After four years of hard work as a government we have the budget in a very strong position and that’s why we’re able to invest a record amount into health infrastructure in the 15/16 budget … this is money in addition to the money we will receive in the poles and wires transaction,” Ms Berejiklian said on Sunday.
