LABOR will build four nurse-led walk-in medical clinics in NSW to ease congestion at emergency departments if it wins the March 28 state election.
THE clinics, introduced in the ACT four years ago, can handle minor injuries and illnesses and will “take the pressure off our emergency departments”, Opposition Leader Luke Foley told reporters in Sydney on Sunday.
Two are planned for western Sydney, one for the Central Coast, and one for the Illawarra region, at a cost of $40 million over four years.
