DOCTORS and supporters of Royal North Shore Hospital will deliver a petition opposing the sale or long-term lease of hospital land to the NSW Parliament.

GREENS MP Jamie Parker will table the 12,700-plus signatures in the lower house on Thursday for debate in the new year.

Senior doctors say they are against the state government’s reported move to seek expressions of interest from private developers to buy or lease the southern campus precinct. Together with the NSW Greens, they claim the process was started without hospital staff and local community consultation.
