AUSTRALIA’S largest IVF provider, Virtus Health, has acquired full ownership of IVF Sunshine Coast in Queensland for $1.2 million.
VIRTUS already had a 20 per cent stake in IVF Sunshine Coast.
As a result of the transaction, three new fertility specialists will join Virtus, lifting the number of specialists at Virtus in Australia to 88. Virtus has identified Queensland’s Sunshine Coast as a key region of expansion, with the population there expected to increase between 38 and 63 per cent by 2031. Virtus shares were 15 cents higher at $7.60 at 1546 AEDT.
