Broome doctor named Rural Registrar of the Year

A Broome-based doctor has been awarded Rural Registrar of the Year.

The Rural Doctors Association of Australia and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine presented the award on Saturday night to Dr Sally Singleton, who is originally from Canberra.

The award recognises Dr Singleton’s leadership, advocacy, hard work and dedication.

Dr Singleton works several days a week in the remote Aboriginal community of Bidyadanga.
