Ms Pham graduated from Texas Christian University in 2010, according to the publication.
She is the first person to contract the deadly virus inside the United States.
The CDC has blamed the infection on a “breach in protocol” at the Dallas hospital where Liberian national Thomas Eric Duncan was treated. He died last week.
