About 400 managers and other professional staff working for Ambulance Victoria have negotiated a pay increase of about 3 per cent per year.
Health Minister David Davis said the Ambulance Managers and Professionals Association had struck a deal for a 6 per cent pay increase from October and a further 1.5 per cent from March 2016 as part of an 18-month agreement.
“Once a formal ballot of employees has been completed by the Australian Electoral Commission, members of the AMPA will enjoy the benefits of their new agreement,” he said.
Association chief executive Chris Walton said the new agreement effectively equalled a 3 per cent pay rise per year given there had been no back pay included in the deal.
