Liliana Coello, 40, had pleaded guilty to unlawfully practising medicine and seriously injuring a patient on two occasions.
New York’s State Supreme Court heard one of the victims, a 40-year-old Brooklyn nightclub worker, paid Coello AUD$2,400 for bottom enhancement injections.

Days later, the woman returned, complaining of agonising pain and swelling. Coello subsequently injected her with what she said was penicillin and applied Krazy Glue — a brand of superglue sold in the US — to the leaking wounds.
The ‘‘patient’’ developed a severe infection which required urgent hospital treatment and two readmissions, the court heard.
Authorities identified the original substance injected into the woman’s behind as “consistent with silicon and kerosene”.
The court heard the woman was likely to face health problems for the rest of her life as a result of Coello’s actions.
In March, a 22-year-old Manhattan woman died after receiving an amateur silicone injection to her bottom.
