A police spokeswoman said the resident, who reportedly weighs 400kg, was suffering from “health issues” and was in the process of being transported to hospital.
“Due to the nature and size of the male involved, allegedly weighing in excess of 400kg, rescue crews were required to remove the front bedroom window to gain access,” NSW Ambulance said in a statement.
“Numerous ambulance, police and fire rescue crews responded.”
Officers are currently managing traffic outside the home, at the corner of Balmoral Avenue and President St in Croydon Park, while the operation is underway.
