A former Queensland Health staffer who was employed to manage the payroll has been charged with defrauding the department of $36,500.
The 35-year-old Caboolture woman was charged by the Crime and Misconduct Commission late last week with 46 counts of fraud.

The CMC said the woman allegedly claimed the money as fraudulent overtime and penalty payments between May 2010 and August 2011.
She had been hired to help manage a new payroll system which was introduced in March 2010.
The CMC said no further comment could be provided.
The woman will face Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 29.
