LETTER OF THE DAY: I find it difficult to come to terms with the mental health unit being built in a residential area.
Would it be reasonable to suggest this unit would have been much better placed in a Queensland Health precinct such as Baillie Henderson or the Base Hospital?
My observation would indicate there are certainly sites at Baillie Henderson to accommodate this facility.
I await, but will not hold my breath for a response from the Minister and the Hospital Board Chairman.
