The Headline Indicators for children’s health, development and wellbeing (Children’s Headline Indicators) are a set of 19 indicators endorsed by the Australian Health Ministers’ Conference, Community and Disability Services Ministers’ Conference and the Australian Education, Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs Senior Officials Committee. The indicators are designed to focus policy attention on identified priority areas for children aged 0–12, with a focus on different groups of children (for example, Indigenous children, children living in remote areas).
