QUEENSLAND Health Minister Lawrence Springborg was in search of a money tree last week. He was speaking to the Argus moments after Queensland Oppostion Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk gave her Budget reply. “I’m going to have to ask her where she’s got it,” Mr Springborg said. He had just spent the past 20 minutes outlining the benefits of the State Budget for the Southern Downs and the broader Queensland community. He’d spoken about the LNP’s strength of conviction and the sale of Queensland assets. “The simple fact is we are willing to go to the next election with this. “Queenslanders can judge. “If they don’t like it they can vote us out. “But (if that happens) people will get pie-in-the-sky promises built on debt and deficit. “We have a plan and we will stick to it,” he said.
