Visiting Medical Officers will sign medical contracts #smoqld #keepourdoctors
The Director General of Queensland Health will meet with Gold Coast doctors today as specialists threaten to quit over medical contracts.
While some SMO’s have resigned and others are threatening to quit, the state’s Visiting Medical Officers have been advised to sign the contracts.
Dr Ross Cartmill is the AMAQ committee representative for VMO’s and he spoke with Steve Austin about why he is recommending that his colleagues accept the contracts.
